Departure for Nicosia, the island’s capital with well-known stores and boutiques that are perfect for enthusiastic shoppers. We pass by the green line, which divides the city in two, the 16th century circular Venetian Wall (the most imposing feature of the capital) and the Gate of Famagusta. We will then pause for pictures by the Monument of Freedom. Ample time will be given for a stroll, shopping and lunch at one of the numerous taverns of Laiki Yitonia, a 19th century quarter, where local specialities are served.
